The physics engine is the big difference that will be noticeable for players of older titles that used the animation system it replaces. Playing in the the Memorial Cup of this junior competition will be a new opportunity. The three regional members have 60 teams between them. With its virtual presence in this ice hockey series, junior ice hockey has an ambassador in the virtual world. Inclusion of junior players likely to be seen in the NHL later will raise understanding of junior hockeys role in enriching the professional ranks.
